AMVETS is the third largest Veteran Service Organization and 10,000
Michigan members strong. Our primary function is to assist Veterans who
are in need.

Applicants were asked to submit an essay on “The Impact of a Single Vote” and were awarded scholarships based on this essay, their grades, and community service participation.

On October 30th, 2010, members of Post 1957 performed volunteer work at the Higgins Lake Lodge. The objective was to replace the bad steps leading down to the beach.

Paul Hill was the founder of our Post. Named for his son, Randy, Paul opened the Post in 1989 with the help of some friends at the National Guard Armory in Adrian.

March came and went so quickly, it’s hard for some of us keep up. Let me highlight some of the fun down at the Post during the past month.
