Paul Hill Memorial Scholarship
Paul Hill was the founder of our post. Named for his son, Randy, Paul opened the Post in 1989 with the help of some friends at the National Guard Armory in Adrian. We celebrated our 15th Anniversary in 2004, unfortunately without Paul's presence. He passed away December 1, 2003, after a long battle with cancer. To honor his never-ending commitment to soldiers everywhere, Post 1957 began the Paul Hill Memorial Scholarship Fund. Donations to the Fund can be made at any Premier Bank branch location, and all contributions are tax deductible 2024 Winners: Madison Burlew $1500- Marissa Burlew $700 2023 Winners: Marissa Burlew $1000 - Madison Burlew - $750 - Jobe Benschoter - $500 2019 Winners: Alexis Burlew $1500 2018 Winners: Alexis Burlew $1,ooo - Mariah Lienau $750 2017 Winners: Alexis Burlew $1,000 - Mariah Lienau $750 - Lauryn Griewahn $500 2016 Winner: Alexis Burlew 2015 Winner: Mariah Lienau 2014 Winners: Morgan Plemmons and Melissa Plemmons 2013 Winners: Morgan Plemmons and Melissa Plemmons 2012 Winners: Stephen Biggs, Drew Plemmons and Andrea Biggs 2011 Winners: Natasha Ricketts, Brendan Plemmons, Andrea Biggs and Alexis VanNieuwenhze 2010 Winners: Ashley Lemle and Natasha Ricketts 2009 Winners: Thomas Hardy and Cassandra Connin 2008 Winners: Andrea Hawken, Andrew Weasel and Kristina Stevens 2007 Winners: None 2006 Winners: Stacie Rock 2005 Winner: Krystal King Please Print or Download the scholarship application below: All materials must be received at AMVETS Post 1957 by close of business June 1, 2024.
